Phase 3 Reopening Guidelines for the Thomasville YMCA (Effective 7-6-2020)

Temperature checks for all members and staff.

Must maintain physical distancing (6 feet apart).

Everett-Milton YMCA

All Phase 1 & 2 services PLUS….

Child Watch:

  • Open from Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 12 PM Monday & Wednesday 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday 4:00-8:00 PM
  • Now located in the main building by the atrium
  • Workouts only: up to two hours

  • Reservations still required, except for aquatics, chair yoga, & SilverSneaker classes.
  • Water Aerobics & Active Older Adults classes have resumed.

Racquetball:

  • Please bring your own equipment.
  • Key will be located at the front desk.
  • Social distancing required.

The Pool will be open for lap swim and water walking only.

  • Monday – Friday: 6 AM – 6 PM
  • No swim lessons will be available until further notice.
  • Hot Tub – a limit of one person at a time will be allowed , or one family group(i.e. husband & wife) at a time. 10 minute limit per person. Open during pool hours.

The following will remain closed during Phase 3 for safety reasons:

  • Basketball Gymnasium
  • Saunas / Steam Rooms
  • Coffee Service
  • Towel Service – please bring your own towel

Guests:

  • No guest passes. Facility use will only be for members only.
  • State / Nationwide Y Members – we will accept Y members through the statewide reciprocity program and nationwide membership program

Butler-Mason YMCA

Basketball gym:

  • Reserved for Y programs only.
  • NO PICKUP BASKETBALL at this time.

Aquatics:

  • The Butler-Mason Pool is open on a reservation-only basis. Click here to make a reservation.
  • The current capacity is 32 per time slot, per pool.
  • Swim Lessons – only levels 5&6 will be offered; no lessons that require an instructor to be in the water.

Programs:

  • Kung Fu will resume on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 - 7 PM.
  • Girls Volleyball has been cancelled. Credit has been applied to the participant's accounts.

Guests:

  • No guest passes. Facility use will only be for members only.

Weston YMCA

  • The Community Pool will be closed for the 4th of July.
  • Community Pool : Closed

Summer Camps

Due to state mandates, there will be no bus transportation, field trips, or overnight camp offered.

Summer Food Program: June 1 – July 24, 2020

  • July 1st – July 24th: Due to COVID-19, participants will be able to pick up meals from the feeding site.

Members with pre-existing health conditions should exercise caution before returning. Anyone displaying flu-like symptoms should not come! Phase 2 Reopening Guidelines for the Butler-Mason Outdoor Pool (Effective 6-1-2020)

The Butler-Mason Pool is open on a reservation-only basis. Our pool policies will continue to be evaluated through the summer and are subject to change.

  • Entry is restricted to active Thomasville YMCA Members only. No guest passes will be available.
  • In order to attend, each person must reserve a two-hour time slot by making an online reservation.

  • Reservation must be for each member in attendance.
  • In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, there is a limited capacity per time slot, per pool (Competition Pool=10 & Play Pool=32)
  • Limited to one registration time slot per day.
  • Spots will be open for reservations 23 hours in advance.
  • After each two-hour time slot, there will be a 30-minute gap to all for disinfection.
  • Entry to the pool will be through the exterior pool gate off the main parking lot.
    • Members will be checked in and screened upon arrival.

Phase 2 Reopening Guidelines for the Thomasville YMCA (Effective 5-18-2020)

Everett-Milton YMCA

All Phase 1 services apply PLUS….

Group Exercise classes will be offered with a limited schedule

  • Spots will be open for reservations 23 hours in advance before class.

  • Yoga Classes: We strongly encourage you to bring your own mat, but we will have mats available that will be wiped down before and after class.

The indoor pool will be open for lap swimming or water walking only.

Rose City Day Camp will start May 26th

The pool will be open for camp only for the month of May.

Summer Camps

Following state guidelines, there will be no bus transportation, field trips, or overnight camp offered.

June Camps:

  • Rose City Day Camp (Min = 15 kids; Max = 57 kids)
  • Camp Piney Woods (Min. = 15 kids; Max = 40 kids)
    • Campers must be dropped-off/picked-up at Camp Piney Woods.
  • Golf Camp
    • Camper must be dropped-off/picked-up at Country Oaks Golf Course.
  • Tennis Camp

  • Spring sports (baseball, softball, t-ball, adult sports) – revised 5-18-2020
    • Due to local restrictions at Remington Park, Spring Sports have been canceled.

    • A credit will be placed on the participant's account within the next two weeks.

    • Girls Volleyball is pending on when the Butler-Mason YMCA re-opens.

Phase 2 Reopening Guidelines for Butler-Mason Child Care (Effective 5-18-2020)

The Butler-Mason Child Care facility will reopen to existing childcare families, starting Monday, May 18th.

There are 190 spots available based on the current state mandates for class sizes. In order to secure a spot for your child you have to pre-register by contacting Bebe Thedford, Child Care Director:

Enrollment pre-payment must be received by the previous Friday for the next week of Child Care. First payment is due on Friday, May 15th.

Summer Hours of Operation: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm

No drop-offs permitted after 9 AM

Drop-off/Pick-up: For safety purposes, no parents or guests are permitted inside the Child Care facility at this time. All drop-off & pick-ups will be from the parking lot.

Cost: $97 a week member/$112 a week non-member

What to bring: Packed lunch until June 1st

Swimsuit, sunscreen, & towel

What not to bring: Personal toys & blankets from home

Child Care Safety Guidelines

Phase 1 Reopening Guidelines (Effective 5-1-2020)

To ensure the safety of all members and staff, we are taking extra precautions as we reopen. We will be reopening our facilities and programs in three (3) phases. Phase 1 reopening will be restricted to basic membership services at the Everett-Milton facility only.

Plans to reopen the Butler Mason YMCA, Child Care Center, and Weston YMCA are being evaluated for Phase 2 and Phase 3. At this time it is our intention to offer summer youth programs. Details and timelines for these activities will be announced as they become available.

Everett-Milton YMCA

Temporary Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday (7:00AM – 7:00PM); Saturday (8:00AM – 12:00PM)

  • Temperature checks for all members and staff.
  • Touch-free entrance and check-in process.
  • Increased sanitizing of equipment and surfaces.
  • 10-person limit in each workout room.
  • Must maintain physical distancing (6 feet apart).
  • Staff will have personal protective equipment (masks and gloves).
  • Spacing requirements on cardio equipment – every other machine.
  • Time limits on cardio equipment will be enforced if people are waiting.
  • Members must disinfect equipment before and after use. Gym wipes will be provided.
  • Members encouraged to wash hands before and after working out with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Lobby seating area will be temporarily removed.
  • No guest passes. Facility use will only be for members only during Phase I.
  • The following will remain closed during Phase 1 for safety reasons:
    • Swimming Pool
    • Child Watch
    • Group Exercise Classes
    • Basketball Gymnasium
    • Racquetball Courts
