Arthur Johnson

Mr. Arthur Johnson is a 1988 graduate of Thomasville High School. During his high school years, Arthur lettered and excelled in both basketball and football. Once out of high school, he continued his educaiton as well as continuing to be a Bulldog as he attended the University of Georgia. While furthering his education, he stayed close to athletics while serving as a trainer for the football team. After receiving a Master of Education Degree in Business Education, he remained at the University for the next two years as an administrative assistant to the football office and event management. Looking to increase his knowledge and skills in the college athletic department setting, over the next 9 years Mr. Johnson was able to work in the athletic department and the football operations at Arizona State University, The University of North Carolina, and The University of Texas. This experience led UGA to call him back home in 2005, to work as Associate Athletic Director in Internal Operations. He has played an integral role in UGA's Athletic Department, where he continues today as the Sport's Administrator for the Men's Basketball Program, working on Facilities and Capital Planning for Facilities, Event Management, Human Resources, Football travel and equipment as well as Football scheduling.
