Duke Bryan
Duke Bryan is the grandson of former UGA coach Sterling Dupree, and that deep sports pedigree was not lost on him. As a student at Brookwood School, he excelled in several sports, winning state championships in football, golf, and tennis.
Duke won the region championship in tennis as a 9th grader and would go on to win state his junior year in 1983 when he also won the golf state title. The Warriors won the state football crown in 1983, where he played split end, punter, and placekicker as an important part of the team.
While at UGA, Duke would kick for two years as part of the Bulldogs and would kick the winning field goal in one of his spring games as his team won 17-14.
Never putting sports aside, Bryan would also become the Glen Arven singles tennis champion in 2003.
Duke is an active member of his church and continues to be an avid sports fan.
