Thomas Graham
Thomas is a THS graduate where he excelled in football and baseball. He was an outstanding split end and strong safety and lettered 3 years on the 1972 and 1973 State Champion teams and the 1974 National Champion team. He also lettered 3 years in baseball and was the Bulldogs leading hitter in 1974. He was a natural as a football referee who has been officiating games for over 37 years. During that span he has officiated 7 GA State Championshiop games, 3 GA All-Star games, and 4 GA/FL All Star games. He has officiated college games for 12 years and offciated the 2001 NCAA Division II National Championship Game. Thomas was a baseball umpire for over 25 years officiating YMCA, high school, and college games.
He is currently an instructor at Southwest GA Technical College where he has held that position since 1985. Thomas has found time in between being an instructor at SWGTC and officiating various sports activities to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, Hands on Thomas County, Humane Society, and Relay for Life, just to name a few. What a fantastic role model for the youth of our community.
