About the Race
The Rose City Run & Walk events include three options for participation – a 10K Run, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a 5K Walk. The Rose City Run and 1 Mile Fun Run take place annually during the Rose Show weekend in Thomasville, Georgia. The 5K Walk takes place a week later.
The Course
The 10K race and 1 Mile Fun Run start on North Broad Street at the corner of Broad and Monroe Streets, near the U.S. Post Office, and ends on the same street a half-block from the starting point. The 5K Walk starts on East Washington Street, in front of the Thomasville Center for the Arts, and ends at the same location.

Rose Show & Festival
Held in historic Downtown Thomasville, the Rose Show has been a Southwest Georgia tradition since 1922. Over the years, flower shows, entertainment, an artisan market, an antique car show, parades, and much more have been added to create a true community celebration.
