Front Desk Attendant

  • Part-Time
  • Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
  • Interviews and/or tours prospective members; sells memberships.
  • Builds relationships with members; helps members connect with one another and to the YMCA.
  • Handles and resolves membership concerns and informs the supervisor of unusual situations or unresolved issues.
  • Applies all YMCA policies dealing with member services.
  • Able to handle money and balance cash drawer.
  • Ability to communicate and work with other departments.
  • Handle additional tasks as needed

Youth Sports Program Director

  • Full Time
  • Administer and supervise the following Thomasville/Thomas County Recreation and YMCA programs:
  1. Baseball
  2. Football
  3. Basketball
  4. Golf Camp
  5. Wrestling
  6. Teens
  7. Summer Teen Activities

  • Salary range $15-$20 hour based on experience and education.
  • Administer and supervise the following Thomasville/Thomas County Recreation and YMCA programs:
    • Adult Sports: Fall & Spring Softball, Kickball, Flag Football, Basketball, Volleyball

Butler-Mason YMCA Custodian

  • Part-Time
  • High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 6 months previous related experience preferred.
  • Must possess effective communication, human relations, and organization skills. Must have a working knowledge of building and grounds maintenance methods for cleaning all building areas, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
