CHILD CARE
Since first opening, the doors to the after-school program in 1986, the YMCA Child Care program has grown with the community. The YMCA now houses two different facilities to meet the diverse needs of the community. "Y" kids receive high-quality care based on our core values: caring, honest, respect and responsibility.
Butler-Mason YMCA Child Care
The Y Child Care Center, located at the Butler-Mason "Y" facility, supports your efforts to nurture your child's healthy development. Well-trained staff provides safe, affordable, high-quality care so you can have peace of mind while you work. Working parents rely on the Y to pick up children at school for after school care. The Child Care Center also offers activities and care during school holidays. Each day over 350 children participate in the Y Child Care program.
At the Y strengthening community is our cause. Through our character-building programs and activities, the Thomasville YMCA ensures that every child is given the opportunity to grow and thrive. At the Butler-Mason YMCA Child Care Center children are engaged in a nurturing environment that will enrich not only the life of the child but the life of the entire family.
As an affordable child care option the YMCA provides families with a choice that allows parents to work without worry. Equipped with a trained staff that are CPR & First Aid certified the Y strives to provide a safe environment for all participants. Our licensed after-school program is offered year-round, serving children 2 years through 12 years old.
