SPECIAL OLYMPIC GAMES

Hundreds of kids with special-needs from across South Georgia come to participate in the Special Olympic Games. They are broken down into whatever skills they can do. So there's no one that doesn't participate. The Special Olympics is the world's largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

Special Olympic Summer Games are held at Thomasville High School.

Special Olympic Winter Games are held at the Thomas County Central High School gymnasium and Rose Bowl Lanes.
